Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Clipbeat at clipbeat.app and its apps (studio.clipbeat.app, agent.clipbeat.app) ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Clipbeat is an AI-assisted tool for creating music videos. It lets you upload audio, transcribe lyrics, generate images, video shots, music and voice with third-party AI models, edit a timeline and export or publish videos. Some processing happens in your browser (for example, browser video export); other features run on our servers and on the AI providers we work with. Features and models may change over time.

3. Accounts

You sign in with Google, TikTok, YouTube or Instagram. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use online services in your country if that is higher. You are responsible for activity under your account and must provide accurate information. One person may not create multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits.

4. Plans, Credits and Payments

Merchant of record. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payments and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase.

Subscriptions. Paid plans (Indie, Creator) are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Subscription; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Prices are shown in USD; taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location. Plan features are described on the Pricing page.

Credits. Credits are used to pay for AI generations. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for money and can only be used within the Service. The number of credits an action costs is shown in the app and on the Pricing page and may change for future actions.

Welcome credits. New accounts may receive 50 promotional welcome credits. Welcome credits are free, have no cash value and are not refundable. We may withhold or remove welcome credits where we reasonably suspect abuse, such as creating multiple accounts.

5. Refunds

You can request a refund within 14 days of a purchase. Refunds are processed by Paddle. See our Refund Policy for details.

6. Your Content and Rights

You keep ownership of the content you upload (such as audio, lyrics and images) and of the videos you create, to the extent you hold the rights. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process and transmit your content only as needed to provide the Service to you — for example, to transcribe your audio, send prompts to AI providers, store your projects and publish videos you choose to publish.

You are responsible for having the necessary rights to everything you upload and publish, including music, lyrics, samples, images, likenesses and trademarks. AI-generated output may not be unique and may be subject to the terms of the AI provider that produced it.

AI music services such as Suno. If your song was created with Suno or another AI music service, that service's terms decide whether you may publish or monetize it. For example, songs made on some free plans may be limited to non-commercial use. Check those terms before publishing.

7. Public Links and Showcase

If you create a public link for a project, anyone with the link can view it, and it may appear in the public Showcase. You can remove the public link at any time. We may remove public content that violates these Terms.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload or create content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
• Create sexual content involving minors, hateful or harassing content, or non-consensual depictions of real people
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data
• Abuse free credits, resell access, or interfere with the Service's operation
• Use the Service to spam or mislead others

9. Third-Party Services and Your Own API Keys

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example fal.ai, OpenRouter, MiniMax, Pexels and Pixabay). As an advanced option you may use your own API keys for some providers; those requests are billed by the provider under their terms, and we are not responsible for charges you incur with them.

10. Social Media Integration

You may connect YouTube, TikTok or Instagram to publish videos. By connecting an account you authorize us to upload content on your behalf when you ask us to. You must comply with each platform's terms, and you can disconnect at any time.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Unused credits are not refunded when an account is terminated for a violation.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected, and we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or meet your specific requirements.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
